PRESIDENT & CEO | NRIA

 

Broad background in business development, finance, accounting, and construction management.

Founded NRIA in mid/late 2006 with a small group of investors to initially build and renovate investment properties via advantageous tax benefits in Philadelphia. Over the past 15+ years, Mr. Grabato has successfully assembled additional key personnel to run every facet of the investment, management, and development business and today the company has many investments/projects ranging in the $50M-$100M (cost) range.

Graduate of De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde with a Major in Business Administration with an emphasis on Export & Construction Management, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Forty years of banking and investment banking experience with a concentration in real estate finance. While working in the investment banking divisions of Chemical Bank and then Citibank, Mr. Casey developed an expertise in all aspects of real estate finance and mortgage banking.

As a consultant for CS/First Boston, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs, he gained extensive experience in acquisition analysis and due diligence in their purchase of banks and bank portfolios. In 1988, Mr. Casey became the Managing Director of Real Estate Investment Banking at Equitable Bank, where he was responsible for advising bank clients on various real estate transactions.

Following the merger of Equitable Bank and Maryland National Bank in 1991, he formed The Casey Group and has advised numerous regional clients on their strategic business issues including bankruptcy, troubled asset management and workouts, and mortgage lending compliance. Mr. Casey is a graduate of Hofstra University and New York University, where he concentrated on Real Estate Finance and Development.

15+ years of domestic and international commercial real estate debt and equity investment experience. Joined NRIA in early 2016.

Prior to joining NRIA; Director of Credit Investment & Strategy, primarily focused on commercial real estate, for MKP Capital Management, a $9.0B Global Hedge Fund. Average portfolio size of CRE Debt investments was approximately $1.0B – $1.5B. Mezzanine debt to Sponsors including Blackstone, Lonestar, Rialto, etc.

Involved historically in Freddie Mac B-Pieces, Conduit B- pieces, as well as legacy and new issue CMBS securities across the risk spectrum.

Underwrote / structured conduit, large loan, and subordinate debt at Eurohypo AG, Deutsche Bank, and Morgan Stanley.

Graduate of Michigan State University (Finance, Magna Cum Laude), and NYU (Masters in Real Estate Finance & Development).

Glenn A. La Mattina is the Chief Operating Officer for National Realty Investment Advisors. In that capacity, Mr. La Mattina oversees the firm’s daily operations and manages the international team that promotes the firm’s EB-5 investment program, which raises foreign capital for USCIS-approved real estate development projects and provides a pathway to U.S. citizenship via NRIA’s Partners Portfolio Fund. Mr. La Mattina also oversees the the general operations of NRIA on a daily basis.

Mr. La Mattina has served on NRIA’s executive team in different capacities for the past seven years. He was recruited to NRIA for his extensive background in commercial and residential real estate lending. Previously, he owned and managed a multi-state licensed mortgage banking firm, which originated over $100 million per year of residential and commercial mortgages and transacted more than $1 Billion in resale and condo purchases over 25 years. La Mattina holds both Mortgage Banking and Real Estate Licenses and brings an extensive background in property management to NRIA.

Mr. La Mattina earned his undergraduate degree from the William Patterson University of New Jersey with a B.S. in psychology and earned a Master’s Degree from Montclair State University in psychology, while owning and growing a private courier business that expanded in several states and employing 57 owner operators.

For the past decade, Mr. Scutaro has been instrumental in the recruitment and relationship building of over 600 HNW accredited investors currently with the firm, and leads an internal 10-person Client Relations /IR team.

Richard Stabile has 35+ years of experience building & managing a large multi-office franchise with RE/MAX.

Mr. Stabile has sold well over 1000 new homes / townhomes / condos in Northern NJ alone, along with construction of hundreds of new homes himself. Additionally, development and sales / leases of retail and commercial properties.

Today, Mr. Stabile continues to manage NRIA’s successful partnership with all external marketing / sales firms in acquiring raw land, issuing approvals, overseeing construction managers, and selling finished development projects.

After decades of experience, Mr. Stabile has utilized his significant experience in site procurements, zoning approvals, entitlement, local government interfacing, overall site management, designs, and construction. Mr. Stabile has forged relationships that are invaluable to NRIA. He has given us an edge in order to navigate the complexities of the approval & zoning process.

Mr. Collins is a Senior Vice President with NRIA and currently oversees the Installment Exchange division.   He has 28+ years of experience in the Real Estate Finance space encompassing Residential and Construction Financing and Consulting Services.  Mr. Collins is a Graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) holding a B.A. degree in Economics with a minor concentration in Finance.  He previously held, in conjunction with, his tenure at Prudential Securities and LPL, Series 3, 7, 63, and 65 Licenses. Mr. Collins currently holds a NJ Real Estate License.

35+ years of progressive residential & commercial development experience holding senior-level leadership positions, with specific emphasis in construction operations, property management, accounting/finance, and marketing at both privately and publicly held companies, including:
K Hovnanian Homes, Centex Homes, Custom Living Homes, Kalian Corporation, Pinnacle Communities, and K2 Management.

Managed and delivered over 3,500 residential units along with 1M+ SF of commercial office/retail/medical space (stabilized).

Operational expertise across States, specifically, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware & Maryland.

Graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Business Administration & Accounting.
