“The Cool Green” -

The Cool Green continues on with its pre-production. This past June, our original plans for The Cool Green were examined by the Planning Board. The feedback issued from this meeting compelled our architects to update our construction drawings and documentation. Our second meeting is scheduled in September. That will allow us to reassess the property and architectural plans. 

Pending the completion of these meetings, we will then be required to gain approval on the site plan – something that will be decided on that second zoning board meeting, scheduled for September. All subject to approval, our development cycle will take place over a twelve-month period.

Our plan is to start assembling permit applications and permits for Q4 2021. If this process concludes on-schedule, we can break ground by 2022.

Hudson County needs more homes for the high levels of home buyers looking for a place to live. A Class A apartment building can create homes for new city residents, allowing an influx of new blood into Guttenberg. The Cool Green, once approvals pass, will provide fresh real estate for people migrating to New Jersey’s Gold Coast.
